Free “Green” House Calls Home Water Audit Program
Every summer, ACWD, the City of Fremont, and the City of Union City team up to bring the California Youth Energy Services (CYES) Green House Calls program to ACWD service area residents. Professionally trained, local Youth Energy Specialists visit your home to conduct energy and water audits and install FREE energy and water saving equipment. Green House Calls can be booked for early July through mid-August. Call (510) 665-1501 x5 or visit the Rising Sun Energy Center website to reserve yours or to get on the waiting list for next summer!

WaterSmart Home Water Report Program
Customers whose water use is above average receive a home water report through this program. Each report contains a comparison of water use with similar households. The report can help you identify the reason for the above average water use and provide assistance with improving your water use efficiency.

Leak Detection Program
ACWD meter readers are alerted when a read is unusually high. They perform a simple leak check, and if the results indicate a possible leak, they will notify you. If no one is home they will leave a notice at the door that a leak is suspected.
