ACWD is offering rebates of up to $125 per toilet if you replace an older (pre-1994) toilet that uses 3.5 gallons per flush (GPF) or more, with a qualifying water-efficient model. Please go to the BAWSCA High-Efficiency Toilet (HET) Rebate Website for information about the rebate amount, qualifying models, program requirements, and application materials. The Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency (BAWSCA) is administering the program on behalf of ACWD and other BAWSCA member agencies. Funding is very limited for this program and may be exhausted quickly, without prior notice. There is a limit of up to 3 rebates per residential unit for the purchase and installation of qualifying toilets.
Due to the overwhelming interest in this program, we have exhausted our funding. We are reviewing alternative funding options (which may include reducing the rebate amount). This program is currently on hold.
As an alternative please go to saveourwaterrebates.com to apply for the state rebate program.
