ACWD’s Drought Tolerant Demonstration Garden
ACWD created a garden that you can use as a guide to help you choose climate appropriate plants for your landscape. Our Drought Tolerant Demonstration Garden is located in front of the ACWD Headquarters at 43885 S. Grimmer Blvd, in Fremont.

Bay-Friendly Gardening Partnership
ACWD works with Stopwaste.org to promote their Bay-Friendly Gardening program to ACWD customers. The Bay-Friendly Gardening program provides technical assistance to customers that want to implement eco-friendly gardening practices at their home and business. If you would like to learn more about the Bay-Friendly Gardening approach, converting lawn to a Bay-Friendly Garden, and/or find out about hiring a Bay-Friendly qualified landscape professional, visit Stopwaste.org’s Bay-Friendly website.
