Urban Water Management Plan

ACWD's Board of Directors Adopted its 2006-2010 Urban Water Management Plan on December 15, 2005 - Resolution No. 05-055. The plan was amended to include additional information on projected water accounts and wastewater flows, and the amended Plan was adopted on April 27, 2006 by the ACWD Board of Directors Resolution No. 06-030. The Urban Water Management Planning Act (Act), Water Code Section 10610 et. seq., mandates that every urban supplier of water providing water for municipal purposes to more than 3,000 customers prepare an Urban Water Management Plan (Plan), the primary objective of which is to plan for the conservation and efficient use of water. The Act requires that the Plan be periodically reviewed at least once every five years, and that the urban water supplier make any amendments or changes to its plan that are indicated by the review.
