Urban Water Management Plan

ACWD's Board of Directors Adopted its 2010-2015 Urban Water Management Plan Update and SBx7-7 Compliance Method on June 9, 2011 - Resolution No. 11-037. The Urban Water Management Planning Act (Act), Water Code Section 10610 et. seq., mandates that every urban supplier of water providing water for municipal purposes to more than 3,000 customers prepare an Urban Water Management Plan (Plan), the primary objective of which is to plan for the conservation and efficient use of water. The Act requires that the Plan be periodically reviewed at least once every five years, and that the urban water supplier make any amendments or changes to its plan that are indicated by the review.
