ACWD Recognizes Local Organizations for Exemplary Water Use Efficiency

Landscape Water Use Efficiency Awards

Alameda County Water District’s (ACWD’s) landscape water use efficiency awards are for organizations who tracked at or below their calculated landscape water use budget, which is based on weather and site characteristics. Water use efficiency efforts contribute to our community’s water supply reliability and are greatly appreciated and more meaningful than ever as California experiences another critically dry year. ACWD recognizes that members of our community have faced unprecedented challenges and hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic and would like to commend and congratulate these local organizations for their water use efficiency during such a difficult time. Please click below for the list of organizations and landscape contractors that managed their landscape water use effectively in 2020.
