Reconnection Information

In order to restore water service, the amount due and a re-establishment fee, as stated in the Rate and Fee Schedule, must be credited to the account. Once payment is made, customers must call the District (510-668-4200) to ensure services are restored.

RE-ESTABLISHMENT FEES:

Monday – Friday:

Between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM: $48.00

Between 4:01 PM – 7:59 AM: $150.00

Weekends or District recognized holidays will be charged an after-hours re-establishment fee of $150.00.

ACWD accepts Check, Visa, Master Card, Discover, and Debit Card online and by phone, in addition to these payment methods, cash, check, and money order are accepted at the office.

Once payment is made, customers must call us to ensure services are restored.

Annual Service Discontinuations 

Every year, Alameda County Water District will make available on this webpage the total number of Residential Services that were discontinued for inability to pay. Previous year counts will be available during the 1st Quarter of every new year.
