In May of 1914, five newly elected Board Members formed the first-ever Board of Directors for the Alameda County Water District. These five elected officials represented the Washington Township and were comprised of nurserymen, orchardists, ranchers, and farmers and would lay the foundation for years to come.
ACWD dedicates this page to our past Directors who have shown outstanding dedication, knowledge and direction, providing the groundwork for the successful organization ACWD is today.
